There are all new images hung in the hall at this time and many compliments are being given to me. The subject is very different from the other exhibitions. This time I hung portraits of my mother’s needlepoint tapestries along the hallway. My mother’s idea of beauty is very traditionally depicted by extremely elegant ladies and gentleman dressed in period costumes. They make love to each other, they look lovingly at pampered children, they are intelligent women who read. Their worlds are taken from the movies. Their beauty is flawless and not a secret is revealed in all their pageantry.
